Villa Valle del Ledro
Designed according to the context of the Valle del Ledro and enhanced by the lake view, the villa, thought as a small house for short holidays, is organized on one level which hosts living room, kitchen, sleeping area and bathrooms. The ‘L’ shaped layout plan is about 120 sqmt, and one of the two wings is extended towards the lake, through beams kept inside the slab thickness. The end of it, made of glass and suspended inside the woods, gives a strong contemplative atmosphere. Wide windows create contiguity through rooms and increase each single space thanks to sliding aluminum fixtures frames. The plan is defined by a central core, to divide the kitchen area from the sleeping one. The wall cladding behind the kitchen unit is made of white back-painted glass, while the counter paneling natural oak was combined with white Corian, used for all the working tops. Facing the kitchen there are cabinets for the storage and other facilities. From the white lacquered portion of the bedroom, where the walk-in closet is, a central section has been removed to make a lightened shelf.

Through wide windows the bedroom overlooks the pool with a direct access to it, and from the pool area is also possible to have direct access the en-suite bathroom ; next to it there's a guest bathroom. A wooden cladding has been used on the walls and on the ceilings, while the floor has been paved with the same stone type and pattern, both indoor and outdoor. Radiant heaters ensure a uniform distribution of heat and a bio-ethanol fireplace has been placed in the living room. The outdoor is designed as a lounge area with an infinity edge pool of 90 sqmt and an open sitting area overlooking the main entrance. Further attention was paid to the paths around the villa, made of teak and gravel in order to blend them with the natural woodland in the surrounding.
