Sample House
Sample House is an exhibition space designed to host "Line" products. An 80sqmt open-plant surface reproducing a housing model where furniture parts, being the only splitting elements, interact with the environment, setting the different spaces. At the entrance we find the library, composed by a sequence of solid wood vertical element which, when needed, can turn into a shelving unit. It's a dynamic solution to segment space; with a simple gesture it's possible to change the lay-out by a rotation of the shelves placed in its verticality. Proceeding inside, we see the dining area with a large fixed length dining table and matching seats. The asymmetric lines feature the table's flat surface and basements, however not affecting the functionality of the element, which, at its minimum section measures 80 centimeters. Breaking the seats down, we find two pieces which combine the basement. The first wraps the upper part hitting the ground in two points. The other, from seating level, turns into the third foothold of the chair. A solid fixing system through pins and a cross-bar guarantees seating stability.
The lounge area was furnished in a quite context , with a sofa from the collection and low tables which protract the dining table traits. The sofa, made of three generous padded modules, comes from a linear design in which the only eccentric part is the backrest volume, which rises reducing its height, giving the element dynamism.
A continuous led light line spreads over this area, while spotlights guarantee accent lighting.
